UPDATE - NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS REGARDING COVID-19 PANDEMIC PROTOCOLS

March 17, 2020

On March 13, 2020, BCBUA announced that it would suspend all IN PERSON baseball operations until the end of March due to COVID-19, consistent with a similar announcement from Baseball Canada.  Baseball BC has now also served notice that they will be shutting down in person baseball operations indefinitely.  In view of widely publicized developments in British Columbia and Canada, BCBUA baseball operations are suspended indefinitely.  THIS INCLUDES THE NATIONAL CLINIC AND UMPIRE ACADEMY THAT WERE SCHEDULED FOR APRIL.  We will re-evaluate in due course when circumstances warrant.

We regret any inconvenience but confirm that we are primarily concerned with the safety of our members and their families and are doing our best to comply with the advisories of public health authorities.

Any further developments will be posted on our website at www.bcbua.ca.

We thank you for your understanding and compliance with public health and safety recommendations.

Please see links below for the Baseball BC and Baseball Canada websites to follow their advisories and updates.
